Astra Nova’s Veterinary GCP training intends to provide guidance and an in-depth insight into the design and the ways in which different clinical studies of veterinary products in the target species are carried out. It also has the purpose to ensure that studies of this sort are not only conducted but recorded and documented following the principles of Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
This guidance has been developed in accordance with the conditions of the International Cooperation on Harmonization of Technical Requirements for Registration of Veterinary Medicinal Products (VICH). In addition to this, it will offer a solidified and unified standard for the European Union (EU), Japan and the United States of America (USA) to facilitate the mutual acceptance of clinical data by the relevant regulatory authorities.
